Integrates and utilizes algebraic concepts and skills, such as integers, algebraic equations, polynomials, factoring and graphing, as well as reviews whole numbers, decimals, fractions, ratio and proportions, exponential notation, percentages, basic geometry and problem solving.

1. Calculate whole number, fraction, decimal, ratio and proportion,
percentage, and signed number problems using the mathematical
operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division;
2. analyze, interpret and solve whole number, fraction, decimal,
ratio and proportion, and percentage word problems, both one and
multi-step, using logical sequence of steps;
3. apply algorithms, such as the order of operations, exponential
notation, and square roots to appropriate problems and solve them;
4. apply mathematical terminology to the interpretation and solution
of all types of mathematical problems;
5. solve one and multi-step linear equations;
6. graph linear equations;
7. analyze, interpret and solve basic geometry problems;
8. add, subtract and multiply polynomials; and
9. apply factorization to trinomials.
