Statistics

Statistical Abstract of the United States: As the National Data Book it contains a collection of statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States. Selected international data are also included. The Abstract is also your Guide to Sources of other data from the Census Bureau, other Federal agencies, and private organizations.

US Census Bureau: Popular tables and maps for the U.S., states, counties, cities, towns, and American Indian reservations

Calculus and Differential Equations

Tools for Enriching Calculus (TEC): Tools for Enriching Calculus is a Java-based application and the user will need to install the latest Java(TM) Runtime Environment (JRE) and Java3D(TM) in order to be able to view the interactive Visuals and Modules.

Differential Equations: IDEA is an Internet Differential Equations Activities, an interdisciplinary effort to provide students and teachers around the world with computer based activities for differential equations in a wide variety of disciplines.

C*ODE*E's: The goal of the Consortium of ODE Experiments is to share the rapidly growing wealth of computational instruction techniques with as many teachers of differential equations as is possible.

From Algebra to Calculus and in between

Arizona Mathematical Software: A collection of programs used by instructors for classroom demonstrations as well as by students for exploration and solving problems. A major consideration in designing our software was to keep the number of (fumbling) keystrokes the instructor needs to make in front of the class to a minimum, particularly as far as entering numbers is concerned.

Math Archives: In these pages, you will find links to various WWW resources on Mathematics. They are organized by topics. In addition, we have added two features to make this a useful database for you:

Mathematics Magazine and the College Math Journal: Search for Math articles online.

MathSciNet: Facts and Figures: 28,888 items added in 2002; 1,799 journals covered; links to 193,315 original articles; 10,843 active reviewers; 373,153 authors indexed

Mathematics Journals: Access information on, or contained in, these journals (e.g., tables of contents of issues, abstracts of papers, actual papers, information about submissions and subscriptions).

The Mathematical Association of America: MAA is the world's largest organization devoted to the interests of collegiate mathematics.

The MacTutor History of Mathematics archive: More than 1300 mathematicians with biographies, 30 articles on the history of various topics in mathematics, more than 60 curves with their history and properties, and mathematicians whose birthday or anniversary of their death is today.

Biographies of Women Mathematicians: Biographical essays or comments on most of the women mathematicians and some photos

Women in Math: An extensive collection of biographies on women mathematicians.

Mudd Math Fun Facts: Hosted by the Harvey Mudd College Math Department.

The Primes Page: Prime number research, records and resources
